OVERVIEW

I³MRI's proprietary technology platform consists of a disposable catheter and related software. The catheter is patterned after conventional cardiac catheters, and contains micro-coils and electronics for communicating with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners.

These catheters are being designed to be compatible with most major vendors' MR scanning systems.

The Company's technology platform can be leverage to develop and build tracking, imaging and interventional MR catheters.

The I³MRI software will be resident as part of the MRI scanner’s operating software, and is comprised of optimized MRI image acquisition software, imaging post-processing algorithms, and a graphical user interface (GUI) image display. The software provides the location and orientation of the catheter, both within the local anatomy’s vascular tree, and globally within the body. Additionally, the software provides adaptive image quality, in which MRI image resolution automatically adjusts for the speed of the catheter‘s movement through the artery tree.
